“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Colossians 3:17
We are a family united in faith in Jesus Christ who gather around the Holy Bible and the Sacraments. We reach out in Christ-like concern and Christ-borne love in ministry to each other and to those without Christ.
Therefore, the objectives of this congregation are:
-
To nurture the active discipleship of each of her members by conducting public divine worship services; offering the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper frequently; giving instruction in God’s Word at small and large group Bible classes, at Sunday school, and in her youth group; and encouraging her members to study their Bibles privately and to have a family altar.
-
To reach out to the unchurched and hurting people in the community through personal witness, organized evangelistic programs, youth and adult instruction, educational ministries, and benevolent works.
-
To bring new members into Christ’s sheepfold and God’s family by the Sacrament of Holy Baptism.
-
To assimilate new members into her ministries.
-
To cooperate with the agencies of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS) and our District in carrying out the district-wide and world-wide mission of the church.
-
To do all things to the glory of God in conformity with His Word and the confessional writings of the LCMS, as drawn from the Bible and articulated in the Book of Concord.

The Lutheran Confessions
Our congregation confesses the Book of Concord, which is the doctrinal standard of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, and was first published in the 16th century A.D. The Book of Concord consists of a collection of texts which explain, among other things, what the Holy Scriptures teach about salvation and justification.
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
John 14:6
